I, Sandra Murphy, the duly assigned Judge of the District Court of the above District Court Areas hereby direct by way of formal Practice Direction in relation to Terms of Consent /Settlement in Family Law cases:

Where terms of consent or settlement are agreed between the parties in District Court Family Law Proceedings and incorporated into Orders made by the Court, such terms shall be filed by e mail with the relevant Court Office in WORD format and certified by the Parties to the settlement or their Solicitors before a copy Order will issue.

This is effective from 2 January 2025
