DUBLIN PERSONAL INJURIES LIST - NOTICE
Please find a list of cases remaining in the Dublin Personal Injuries Lists For Hearing from the period 18th March 2020 to the 26th June 2020 (Approx 280 cases)
Following the Statement of the President of the High Court of the 26th June 2020 a positive callover of the List will take place remotely before Mr Justice Cross on Wednesday 8th July 2020. Failure to attend the callover will result in the Notice of Trial being struck out.
Cases will be listed in the order in which they were listed from 18th March 2020 as set out hereunder.
There is a limit to the number of each virtual room. The list has been divided to accommodate approximately 40/45 participants in each room.
Preferably only one party per case should dial in at the appropriate time to avoid blocking access for other parties {each Virtual Courtroom has a maximum capacity of approximately 100)
The Judge will move from room to room as scheduled so Parties should dial in to the allocated Room at the allocated time and wait for the Judge to join the hearing. Be aware that virtual hearings can run over schedule so there may be a delay.
As this is a long list and time will be at a premium Parties may only make a brief application in relation to the case(s)
THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS REMOTE CALLOVER IS TO CLEAR THIS LIST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRESIDENT’S STATEMENT BEFORE THE START OF OCTOBER 2020
The Virtual Courtroom Numbers and relevant instructions will be made available to members from noon on Monday 6th July 2020 through the Law Society of Ireland and the Bar of Ireland websites
Bar of Ireland Members Area – remote hearing links
