Summary
The Courts Service of Ireland is seeking Tenders from Irish Sign Language Interpreters who are registered on the Register of Irish Sign Language Interpreters (RISLI).
An invitation to participate in an Authorisation Scheme for the provision of Irish Sign Language Interpretation Service for the Courts Service of Ireland is now live on eTenders.
As part of this Authorisation Scheme, a panel of ISL Interpreters, that are capable of providing a high-quality Irish Sign Language interpretation service, will be established, for use by any individual practicing barrister or solicitor requiring ISL Interpretation Services, in conducting their function before the Court and for any person competent in Irish Sign Language and who cannot hear or understand English or Irish appearing in or giving evidence before the Court.

A remote briefing session will be run by the Courts Service on the 8 November 2024 on the use of eTenders – (i.e. the online platform where this competition is published).
The remote briefing will be delivered over Microsoft teams and will cover: -

- How to locate the competition;
- How to complete and submit the application document;
