The courtroom is located in a refurbished building which also houses Kilmallock branch library and the local area office for Limerick County Council
The Kilmallock court complex was completed in 2010.
By using dark furnishings and filtered light, the look and feel of a traditional 19th century Irish courtroom has been preserved. At the same time all the facilities expected in a modern court venue are provided. You can access meeting rooms and accommodation for legal practitioners and their clients through the entrance hall. There is secure, independent access from the rear for persons in custody, while the judges’ chambers have views to an enclosed planted courtyard.
Kilmallock Courthouse is supported by Limerick Court Office - Civil and Family.
